Welcome to the website of the 6th Rotary District 9101 Assembly & Conference that was held in The Gambia, West Africa from the 19 – 23 March, 2019.
We invite Rotarians from all over the world to use this site to contact Rotary Clubs from Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea Bissau, Guinea Conakry, Liberia, Mali, The Gambia, Senegal and Sierra Leone.
The Gambia is known as the Smiling Coast Of West Africa and has developed into a world class tropical paradise & luxury tourist destination with five star accommodation; fine dining; fantastic beaches; great night life; bird watching and nature safaris to see monkeys, crocodiles & hippos; river and sea fishing; golf; and a wealth of African cultural experiences.
Gambia International Airport is well served with flights from within the sub region and is only a 6 hour flight from Northern Europe with charter flights available from Switzerland, UK, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
