1. Applicants must be active Rotary Club Members whose applications must be supported by their Rotary Club

2. Applicants must meet all the Eligibility Criteria as specified in the Rotary International By-Laws, which is part of the Manual of Procedures, and any other criteria or provision enacted by the Board of Directors of Rotary International. (See 2016 MOP, Article 14 – subsections 14.010 – 14.070)

3. Applicants must meet the below criteria as established by District 9101. (See Signed District By-Laws, 2016/17: Article 11 & 12, pages 19 – 22)

(i) At the time of application, 4 years must have lapsed since the candidate was a President of a Rotary Club

(ii) The candidate must have participated in at least two (2) District Assembly Conferences since the end of his Presidency of a Rotary Club

(iii) The candidate must be a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF +5 Major Donor) and must be able to evidence his/her support to the Rotary Foundation

(iv) The candidate must submit a justification and motivation note on his/her interest to become District Governor and this note must entail the envisaged his/her goals for the District on the below:

a. Membership Development

b. Support to the Rotary Foundation

c. Promotion of the Public Image of Rotary in District Member Countries

(v) The candidate must undertake in writing and consent that he/she would not in any manner use District Financial Resources (budget) for personal use; including to provide recognition of the Rotary Foundation (PHF, Benefactor, etc.) for him/her or a family member

(vi) The candidate must commit him/herself to avoid any conflict of interest that may arise during his/her term as District Governor in the discharge of his/her duties.

CRITERES D’ELIGIBILITE AU POSTE DE GOUVERNEUR

1. Les candidats doivent être des membres actifs d’un club Rotaryet leurs candidatures doivent être soutenue par leur club Rotary.
2. Satisfaire tous les critères d’éligibilité au poste de gouverneur tels que spécifiés dans le règlement Intérieur du Rotary International partie intégrante du Manuel de Procédure et tout autre critère ou disposition adopté par le Conseil d’Administration du Rotary International ; (Voir 2016 MOP, article 14 – paragraphes 14.010 – 14.070)

3. Les candidats doivent satisfaire aux critères ci-dessous, tels qu’établis par le District 9101. (Voir le règlementIntérieur duDistrict 2016-2017 : articles 11 et 12, pages 19 à 22).
(i) Le candidat doit avoir participé à au moins deux (2) Conférences et assemblée du district depuis la fin de son mandat de présidence d’un club Rotary ;
(ii) Au moment de déposer sa candidature, 4 ans devaient s’être écoulés depuis que le candidat était président d’un club Rotary ;
(iii) Le candidat doit être un membre de Paul HarrisCercle (donateur majeur PHF + 5) et doit être en mesure de prouver son soutien à la Fondation Rotary ;

(iv) Le candidat doit soumettre une justification et une note de motivation sur son intérêt pour devenir gouverneur de district et cette note doit comporter les objectifs prévus pour le district ci-dessous :

a. Développement de l’effectif

b. Soutien à la Fondation Rotary

c. Promotion de l’image publique du Rotary dans les pays membres du district

(v) Le candidat doit s’engager par écrit et consentir à ne jamais utiliser les ressources financières du district (budget) à des fins personnelles ; y compris pour la reconnaissance de la Fondation Rotary (PHF, bienfaiteur, etc.) pour lui / elle ou un membre de la famille

(vi) Le candidat doit s’engager à éviter tout conflit d’intérêts qui pourrait survenir pendant son mandat de gouverneur de district dans l’exercice de ses fonctions.
