Rotary District 9101 Assembly & Conference

Welcome to the website of the 6th Rotary District 9101 Assembly & Conference to be held in The Gambia, West Africa from the 19 – 23 March, 2019.

We invite Rotarians from all over the world to attend the Conference for Rotary Clubs from Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea Bissau, Guinea Conakry, Liberia, Mali, The Gambia, Senegal and Sierra Leone.

As Governor for District 9101 for Rotary Year 2018-19, I am honoured and privileged to invite our Rotarian Delegates and friends to the 2019 District Assembly and Conference to be held in The Gambia.

Let me take this opportunity to remind ourselves of President of Rotary International 2018-19, Barry Rassin’s vision for the future of Rotary, which is aptly captured in the 2018-19 Rotary Theme – “Be the Inspiration”.

Whilst we have been inspiring our communities through our various service interventions across continents and in our various districts and regions within our countries in the areas of promoting peace; fighting disease; providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene; saving mothers and children; supporting education; and growing local economies, I oblige us Rotarians of District 9101 to challenge ourselves to “Be the Inspiration” to pioneer the positive change we seek.

Our challenges are many, but as Rotarians we will face them together and inspire positive change in our communities.
